'tis the season

I normally don't begin celebrating Christmas until Thanksgiving is over but this year I was itching to bust out the decorations.
We moved all of our fall/Thanksgiving decorations from the living room to the kitchen and began to make a winter wonderland.
It was November 16th, that's not too early...
I know some people had their Christmas decorations out the day after Halloween.

(You'll notice Mabin's blankie.
He must have that with him when we are home.
If he has it, he has to be wearing it like a scarf.
We made a rule he can't take it out of the house, which he follows surprisingly well, considering how attached he is to it.)

Mabin was too cute helping Mikey decorate the tree.
I always end up sitting back and watching because they are adorable together.
We have very kid friendly ornaments so we don’t have to stress about our kid(s) messing with the tree. Mabin is so cute playing with it and rearranging the ornaments daily.

It's the perfect little tree for us.

Mabin noticed that our stockings looked an awful lot like his socks and decided he had to try them out.

This is him saying "no" when I asked if he wanted to take them off.

Here's our little bit of Christmas in the kitchen.
At least until Thanksgiving was over.
Mabin will come and chat with Frosty throughout the day.
