my boys

Mikey sometimes teaches Mabin new tricks, forgetting that once Mabin learns something new he must repeat it at least a million times.
I love watching these two together.
It warms the cockles of my heart.
But then Mikey goes to work and Mabin expects his big ol' pregnant Momma to do these fun tricks with him.
Besides sitting upside down on our couch and kicking their legs in the air, jumping on our bed is another new trick that Mikey showed Mabin.
That one I might keep in my back pocket to get labor going but until then it ain't happening.

I grabbed Mabin a handful of cereal to keep him busy while I was getting lunch ready and turned around two seconds later to this.
Apparently his idea of portion size for a toddler is a tad bigger than mine.

Halloween

My very simple door hanging, I try to be festive.
Mabes had a blast helping me make it.
Thank you Pinterest!

Golly jeepers, those boys are too handsome.

Mabes was (and always will be) our knight in shining armor.
Whenever he has a sword, or anything close to resembling one, he yells "En garde!"
It's pretty much the cutest thing ever.

Never did get a very good shot of his costume.
It was adorable.

Getting ready for trunk-or-treating.
We practiced all day saying "trick or treat" but he froze when it was game time.
Actually I'm not sure if he froze or was too distracted by the sucker he got at the first car to care about performing.
He thought it was the coolest thing ever that people would just hand out free candy.
I'd say Halloween was a success.
