Egin Lakes

So, we love Egin Lakes. 

It's up by the sand dunes. 

The water never gets very deep and it's easy on the feet because it's sand and it's warm. 

Perfection.

And it's free. 

Or so we thought.

It's not free anymore. 

It's only $5 for a whole day but you can't beat free right?

Looks like we won't be spending as much time there as we thought. 

We did take a little trip up there this weekend 

(despite the outrageous price ;)

and

I'm so glad. 

He was adorable in the water. 

The photos don't do the experience justice. 

I take back what I said earlier, we will be spending lots of time there. 

We didn't buy swim diapers or swimming trunks because we weren't sure if Mabin would even like it. 

Thus the onsie wedgie. 

Looks like he'll be getting swim trunks in the near future.

Splash Park

We are not used to the hot weather we've been having but we love it!

We spend our days outside as often as possible. 

It's so fun for us to be at Porter Park, especially since they have a FREE splash park. The water is a little cold but Mabes doesn't seem to mind. 

Mikey and I like to walk on the path in the park and people watch.

Two of my best friends had their babies around the same time as me. 

It's been so fun having babies together. 

Brynn lives in Idaho Falls so we get to see her family a lot, which we love.  

Ashley, however, lives in Austin, Nevada.

 Very very far away.

She came up for a visit before her husband starts medical school in Missouri. 

I finally got to meet little Mariah. 

It was so nice to talk and spend time with those girls. 

Too bad we can't live next to each other for the rest of our lives.

We love Mikey.

We had Mulligatawny soup and zucchini boats as requested by Mikey for Father's Day. We did our little celebration on Saturday because we went to the Brunson's on Sunday for dinner and games.

His sense of humor is one- of- a- kind and he makes us laugh every day. 

I'm so glad he will be the father of my children.

He's just too dang cute. 

Mikey had a two day college trip thing in Boise with KPMG.

We met Mikey in Boise after Seren's wedding and Tice's graduation.

They paid for us to stay in a hotel. It was right downtown.

Mabin and I had so much fun. We played all day and explored downtown Boise. 

It was loverly not to have any responsibilities for a bit.
